Mike Macy

Mike is the owner/agent of the Macy Insurance Agency, Inc. and started in the insurance industry in 2005 working for his mother, Linda L. Macy. When she retired in 2007, he purchased her agency. Mike also purchased his father; Ed Macy's agency in 2009. Mike is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance with the State of Michigan. Prior to his career in the insurance business, Mike worked as a Packaging Engineer and is a graduate of Michigan State University. He lives in Waterford and spends his free time with his dog and enjoying outdoor activities.

Mike is a terrible golfer.

Kristen Gillette

Client Services Representative / General Manager

Kristen has been with the Macy Agency since 2003. Prior to working for the agency, she worked at MEEMIC's Corporate Headquarters in Auburn Hills. Kristen is our general office manager and can be found at our Waterford office. She is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance with the State of Michigan. Kristen is a graduate of Western Michigan University and lives in Waterford. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children.

Kristen loves mountaineering and has climbed 4 of the tallest mountains on the 7 continents, including Mt. Everest and Denal.

Teri Tokan

Client Services Representative / Oxford Location Manager

Teri has been with the Macy Agency since 2005 and began her career in the insurance industry in 1999. Teri manages our Oxford office and is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance with the State of Michigan. She lives in Clarkston and is active in her church and is the advisor for the church's youth group.

Teri loves extreme sports such as BASE jumping, hang gliding and has recently taken up kite boarding.

Christina Overton

Client Services Representative / Marketing Manager

Christina joined the Macy Agency in 2009 and started in the insurance industry in 2002 working for another MEEMIC agent. Christina has also worked for MEEMIC's Headquarters and for an independent commercial lines insurance agency. She is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health Insurance with the State of Michigan. Christina is a graduate of Western Michigan University and lives in Rochester Hills with her husband. She enjoys both local and professional sporting events.

She plans to run with the bulls in Barcelona this year and is a semi-professional shark fisherwoman.

Mimi Shutt

Client Services Representative

Mimi began with the Macy Agency in 2006 and began her career in insurance in 1983. She worked at the MEEMIC Headquarters from 1988 - 2001 and sold Life and Heath Insurance Products from 2001 - 2003. She is licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health Insurance with the State of Michigan. Mimi lives in Waterford with her husband and daughter.

She spends her free time riding horses competitively and has recently started on the rodeo circuit.
